EastEnders will broadcast a new 13-episode series called EastEnders: E20, but audiences will only be able to watch the new spin-off online.The series, which starts in January 2010 will focus on four sixth form students "experiencing the highs and lows of teenage life". But the BBC has promised that some familiar faces will make cameo appearances as the main show and online series cross paths.
E20 is part of the build-up to EastEnders 25th anniversary celebrations in February. With a live episode also planned to mark the event it seems EastEnders will be exciting onscreen and now for the first time online as well.
